Sri Balaji Vidhyalaya Kannada Paathashale adopted the curriculum from Kannada Academy, which is approved by Kannada Abhivruddhi Pradhikara, Govt. of Karnataka, along with the University of Mysore.

Our Portland Paathashale has more than 40 students with several volunteer teachers.

We have been working for more than 12 months with the Beaverton School district and the Hillsboro School district to recognize Kannada as a world language. Once it is recognized and approved, students will get a non-GPA high school credit once they complete a minimum of Swara Balla 1 & 2 and Akshara Balla 1 & 2 and take an exam with AVANT testing agency during their junior or senior year.

Kannada Academy has partnered with AVANT for Kannada language proficiency testing.

Our Paathshale has been accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges).
